The UCS platform is designed for virtualization from the ground up. The “Extended Memory Architecture” that provides up to 384 Gigabytes of memory to the Intel Nehalem processors is unparalleled in the industry. The ease of management through UCS Manager provides a “single pane of glass” management platform for up to 40 chassis (320 half width blade servers), network connectivity and storage access.

The UCS platform has created a completely new market for Cisco for which they have created a new Advanced Technology Partner (ATP) for UCS in order to be in sync with the high standards set by Cisco technology in other areas.
